Gracelock Tie
Aside from full clothing, the gracelock tie is likely the most original design I've produced, and the piece with which I am most satisfied to date. The images are of the original prototype, and I have since made another with minor improvements: sharper side-corners at the bottom, slight increase in length, smoother tapering, slightly lighter variation on the tip with trim that more closely matches the edge pattern along the other sides, and a better-shaped clasping hook that operates more smoothly (and isn't made from galvanized steel).
This tie hangs smoothly, bends freely, and basically acts like a real tie in every way, except that it is a little thick. The fit is very comfortable and light as well. You'd be hard-pressed to notice the difference from a normal tie unless you start swinging it around. The knot looks authentic and the main piece appears to actually gather/bunch into it. The hanging portion is slightly too thick to fit in most tie clips, so this isn't the best option to wear without a blazer or vest, particularly if you anticipate needing to hold it out of your soup.
As the name suggests, the tie is mostly made from gracelock. The adjustable chain is half-Persian 4-in-1, and both weaves are in 18g 1/4" ID rings of bright aluminum. The knot is half-Persian 3-in-1 sheet 5 made from ~19.5g 3/16" ID rings in bright aluminum.
